WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University Warriors fall to Concordia-St. Paul in the NSIC opening weekend 5-0.
The Warriors battled along side the Golden Bears throughout the first have to keep the game scoreless for both teams. Both WSU and CSP were able to get a handful of shots off in the first half, with the Warriors collecting three and two on goal and the Golden Bears collecting five with three on goal.
Winona State went into the second half ready to go, but CSP came out of half time hot and scored 2 minutes into play. The Golden Bears kept on rolling the rest of the second half collecting four more goals. WSU collected shots from

Olivia Cyr,
Jacey Sturek, and
Faith Quinn with Cyr, Sturek and Quinn all having shots on goal.
The Winona State University Warriors will be back in action on their home pitch Friday, September 27 against MSU Moorhead at 5:00 p.m. at Altra Federal Credit Union Stadium.
