WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University gymnastics team will host their first home meet of the season against Gustavus Adolphus College and UW- La Crosse on Friday, January 24 with a start time of 6 p.m.

The Warriors are coming off a record breaking weekend out at Eastern Michigan University where they faced off against three Division I teams. WSU broke record scores in the vault (47.575), bars (47.275), floor (48.200) and overall team score (189.450), which all broke into the top-10 in the record books. During the quad meet Jessica Miley earned a career-high score of 9.700 on the bars. Some other Warriors that made their mark were Kennedy O'Connor on the vault with a score of 9.700, Bryce Stoltz and Kaelyn Duman on the beam with both getting a score of 9.650, and Gabby Kraft on the floor with a score of 9.725. 

Going into their triangular meet against GAC and UWL, the Winona State gymnasts to keep an eye on is O'Connor on the vault, Jessica Miley in the all-around, Kraft on the floor, and  Stoltz and Duman on the beam. Some other WSU gymnasts to watch for are Ella Denno on bars, Taylor Magierka on the floor, and Madysen Diskerud on vault. Looking at GAC, the gymnasts to watch in the triangular would be Cara Wong on beam and all-around, Lili Guy on the floor and bars, and Lily Horsch on vault. For UW-La Crosse, the gymnasts to watch are Lily Millington on Vault, Claire Robbins and Lauren Main on bars, Raina Christienson on beam, Grace Kehr on floor, and Madison Daly in the all-around. 


The Winona State University gymnastics team takes on Gustavus Adolphus College and UW- La Crosse on Friday, January 24 starting at 6 p.m. The Warriors will then be back home hosting the Warhawks from UW- Whitewater on Friday, January 31 and the following Friday, Febuary 7, against Hamline University.
