WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State men's basketball team is set to host the University of Minnesota Crookston and Bemidji State University on Friday, January 10th at 7:30pm and Saturday, January 11th at 5:30pm.
Winona State,11-4 overall and 6-3 in NSIC play, is receiving votes in the most recent NABC Coaches Poll after defeating the University of Mary and going into three overtimes against #5 Minot State University.
Winona State University is hosting their Winter Game Day Experience from 3pm to 6pm inside McCown Gymnasium during the game on Saturday against Bemidji State. This family-friendly event will feature vendors, games and giveaways for all ages – with special Winona State employee incentives and giveaways. Bemidji State Notes:
- Bemidji State holds a 6-8 record overall and 3-5 in the NSIC.
- Mike Boschee enters his 12th season as head coach of the Beavers.
- John Sutherland leads Bemidji State in scoring at 12.5 points per game
- Averaging 8.0 rebounds per game, Tate Olson leads BSU in rebounding.
- The Beavers most recently faced off against Augustana, dropping the contest 98-66.
