WAYNE, Neb. – The Winona State men's team tabs a sixth place finish overall at the NSIC Championships hosted by Wayne State College.
Mitchell Johnstone earns NSIC Second Team All-Conference honors with a 17th place finish and a time of 26:10.78. He led the men's team to a 6th place finish with a score of 187. Augustana University won with a team score of 27. While MSUM's Jared Gregoire finished first with a time of 24:57.92.
Johnstone helped lead the team to a sixth place finish and was assisted by a supporting cast of
Robert Spain with a time of 26:39.03,
Jacob Lanzara who shortly followed with a time of 26:54.95, followed by Calvin Redeker at 27:14.01, and
Wyatt Harmoning rounding out the crew at 27:36.68 to flesh out the Warrior's top 5.
The Warriors will look to carry momentum into the NCAA Division II Regional on Saturday, November 8th in Joplin, Mo.
