BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Warriors lose a close game to the Beavers 2-1 to wrap up weekend road trip.
An early goal from the Beavers was stifled by the Warrior's defense until the second half. The Warrior offense responded by a penalty kick goal from
Jacey Sturek. However, the Beavers responded shortly after with a penalty kick goal in the last 3 minutes of the game, leaving the Warrior offense no time to respond.
How it Happened:
An early goal from the Beavers was met with an active Warrior defense all first half. The Warrior offense outshot the Beavers in the first half 6-2. However, nothing found back net.
The Warriors broke through in the 79th minute with a penalty kick goal from
Jacey Sturek. However, the Beavers quickly responded with a penalty kick goal of their own at the 87th minute mark. This goal left the Warriors with no time to respond offensively.
