WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State women's volleyball team will hit the road this weekend, beginning with a Friday matchup at Jamestown, followed by a Saturday contest against #22 Northern State.
WSU will look to continue NSIC play strongly on Friday, October 31st at Jamestown with first serve at 6:00pm. The Warriors then will head down to #22 Northern State in another ranked match up Saturday, November 1st at 2:00pm.
Winona State Notes:
	- Head coach Kristine Pelky has started her inaugural season 7-7 in NSIC play and 12-10 overall.
- Winona State leads the NSIC in average blocks with 2.19 blocks/set.
- Kenna Kornely is fifth in the NSIC in total kills (278) while averaging 3.61 kills/set.
- Gianna Vollrath is third in the NSIC in total blocks (85) while averaging 1.09 blocks/set.
- Ashlyn Steding leads WSU with 435 assists and is averaging 5.51 assists/set.
- Anna Hennessy leads the Warriors with 322 digs while averaging 4.08 digs/set.
- Winona State looks to keep the train rolling after going 2-0 in NSIC matches last weekend.
Jamestown Notes:
	- Head Coach Jon Hegerle has started his 17th season with the Jimmies to a record of 9-12.
- The Jimmies are entering their first season in the NSIC after competing in the NAIA division previously.
- Junior outside hitter Addison Brooke is eighth in the NSIC for hitting percentage with .354.
- Junior defensive specialist Momoka Minamiya is seventh in the NSIC for digs per set with 4.35 and 326 total.
#22 Northern State Notes:
	- Northern State is ranked #22 in the AVCA coaches polls this week.
- Head Coach Brent Aldrige looks to continue his successful season with a 17-5 overall record.
- Northern State is second in the NSIC for hitting percentage with .292 and 1084 total kills this season.
- Sophomore setter Ava Nilsson leads the NSIC in assists per set with 12.24 and 918 total assists this season.
