ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Winona State men's cross country earned second place at the Griffon Invite as Mitchell Johnstone and Robbie Spain earned top ten finishes.
 
Johnstone led the Warriors with a time of 25:31.15 to finish fourth overall. Robbie Spain ran to a time of 26:18.54 and finished seventh to give WSU a strong presence in the leading pack.
 
Jacob Lanzara was the next Warrior across the line, running the race in 26:36.90. Connor Norby, Connor Hallaway, and Wyatt Harmoning all finished in the top 20.
 
Winona State will race next at the NSIC Championships on Friday, October 24th in Wayne, Neb.
