WINONA, Minn. – Winona State's women's cross-country team is set to race in Kenosha, Wis. this Saturday, November 22nd for the 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Cross Country Championships hosted by UW-Parkside.
The race will start at 10am on Saturday at the UW-Parkside Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course. The Warrior's finished 14th last year in a field of 34 teams at the NCAA Division II National Championships.
Women's Cross-Country Notes:
- WSU cross country won the NSIC Championships with a team score of 57 points.
- Winona State had five runners within the top 31 individual finishers and tallied 99 points as a team to win the Central Region Championship by 14 points over Pittsburg State in a field of 36 teams.
- Sophia Taarud earned third place overall in the regional finishing with a time of 20:48.22.
- Stella Rusch followed finishing 16th overall at 21:39.98.
- Ella Voit was right outside the top 20 with a time of 21:42.65.
- Kelsey Young (21:54.41) and Kylie Anderson (22:00.94) rounded out WSU's top five which secured the regional title.
