NEW ORLEANS, La. – After leading Winona State women's cross country to an 11th-place finish at the 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Cross Country Championships,
Sophia Taarud earned USTFCCCA All-America honors.
Taarud, a graduate student from Farmington, Minn., capped her cross country career with a 34th-place finish individually at the NCAA DII Championships at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wis. this past weekend to earn All-America status.
Taarud led the Warriors to five team victories this season, including the NSIC and Central Region Championships, and a third-consecutive trip to the National Championships.
