WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State women's volleyball team is set to host MSU Moorhead and Minnesota Crookston on Friday, November 7th and Saturday, November 8th.
The Warriors look to finish the season strong against the MSU Moorhead Dragons on Friday, November 7th at 6:00pm and will follow up against the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles on Saturday, November 8th at 2:00pm.
WSU is excited to announce all ticketing will be fully digital this year. All fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online before arriving at the venue.
Cash will not be accepted at the gate.
Winona State Notes:
- Head Coach Kristine Pelky looks to finish her inaugural season strong, currently sitting with an 8-8 record in the NSIC and 13-11 overall.
- Winona State leads the NSIC in blocks with 190 total and 2.24 blocks per set.
- Gianna Vollrath is third in the NSIC for blocks per set with 1.12 and is second in the NSIC for total blocks with 94.
- Kenna Kornely is fifth in the NSIC for kills with 3.59 per set and has 298 total kills this season.
- Ashlyn Steding leads the Warriors in assists this season with 465 total and an average of 5.47 per set, which puts her at 14th in the NSIC.
- Anna Hennessy is top 10 in the NSIC for digs with 346 total this season and an average of 4.07 per set.
MSU Moorhead Notes:
- Head Coach Kari Thompson is in her third season leading the Dragons to their best season under her leadership with a 13-11 record overall.
- Madi Colby, a junior setter is top 15 in the NSIC for assists with 502 total and 5.64 per set.
- Raiah Mandell, a junior outside hitter, is top 20 in the NSIC for kills with 265 total and an average of 2.98 per set.
Minnesota Crookston Notes:
- Head Coach Nick Meseck enters his fourth season and looks to secure the Golden Eagles first conference win this season after starting 0-16 in the NSIC and 6-18 overall.
- Madison Carsten, a junior outside hitter is second in the NSIC for kills with 315 total this season and 3.89 kills per set.
- Kailee Waasdorp, a junior libero is first in the NSIC for digs with an average of 5.66 digs per set.
