EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - The Winona State University gymnastics team made the trek out to UW-Eau Claire to compete in a dual against the Blugolds.
Winona State collected a team score of 185.425 and UW-Eau Claire collected an overall team score of 186.075.
The Warriors made the trip to UW-Eau Claire to compete in a dual meet against the Blugolds, where WSU had
Jessica Miley take first place on the bars with a score of 9.475. On the Vault, the Warriors took all top-three spots with Aspen Peter taking third with a score of 9.425,
Kennedy O'Connor taking second with a score of 9.625, and
Gabby Kraft taking first place with a score of 9.650. On floor, Miley was one of three to tie for second place along side UWEC's Anna Preussner and Emily Lesse, who all scored a 9.500. In first place on the floor, Kraft secured the top place with a score of 9.625. Lastly on beam, Kraft earn yet another first place finish with a score of 9.700. With the outstanding performance of Kraft and the rest of the Warriors, WSU score a overall score of 185.425.
The Winona State University gymnastics will be back in action at UW-Stout for a triangular meet against the Blue Devils form UWS and the Titans from UW-Oshkosh on Thursday, February 20 with march in set to start at 6 p.m.
