MANKATO, Minn. - The Winona State University women's tennis team traveled to Mankato, Minnesota to face off against the Mavericks of Minnesota State dropping the contest 6-1.
Doubles Action:
Halle Rosentreter and
Lainy Ristau competed at the No. 1 doubles, dropping their match 6-2.
Skylar Gary and
Alexandra Madjun competed at the No. 2 doubles, winning their contest 6-4.
Clara Thoemke and
Ally Burger dropped a closely contested match in the No. 3 doubles spot 6-4.
Singles Action:
The Warriors competed hard with Ristau dropping a close match at No. 1 doubles.
Skylar Gary earned the only Warrior point winning 1-6, 7-6, 1-0. Thoemke dropped her match at the No. 3 singles 6-4, 7-5.
The Warriors are next in action in the NSIC Tournament on Friday, April 25 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
