LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Winona State University softball student-athlete
Sam Keller earned NFCA and D2CCA All-Region honors.
Keller, a graduate student from Elburn, Ill., earned NFCA Second Team All-Region honors after her performance in her final season as a Warrior. Keller led the team in batting average (.427), runs (49), hits (73), doubles (19), triples (4), slugging percentage (.690), walks (39), on-base percentage (.528), and OPS (1.218). Keller helped lead the way on defense as the starting center fielder, where she collected 63 fly outs, 56 put outs, five assists, only two errors, and a fielding percentage of .968. Keller also helped lead the WSU to a 42-14 overall record and an appearance in the NSIC Tournament championship game.
The award honors softball student-athletes from the Association's eight regions with first and second-team selections. NFCA member head coaches from each respective region nominated their student-athletes and voted on the teams. All the honorees are now eligible for selection to the 2025 NFCA Division II All-America squads.
The 2025 NFCA Division II All-America teams will be announced on Wednesday, May 21.
