MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Winona State University men's cross country team finished ninth overall at the Roy Griak Invitational.
The warriors placed ninth in a field of twenty-one teams, edging out NSIC foes Minnesota Crookston, Concordia-St. Paul, Sioux Falls, Minnesota Duluth, Minot State, and Southwest Minnesota State.
Mitchell Johnstone led the Warriors with a 14th place finish overall with a time of 27:00.6.
Robert Spain followed with a time of 28:02.9.
Jacob Lanzara finished with a 28:16.7
Connor Norby came closely behind at 28:26.3.
Connor Hallaway all rounded out the Warrior's top five finishing with a time of 29:10.1.
The Warriors will race next at the Griffon Invitational in St. Joseph, Mo. on Saturday, Oct 4th.
