WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State men's basketball team continues their 2025-26 regular season with a pair of road contests against the University of Minnesota Duluth and Bemidji State University on January 23 and 24.
The Warriors will travel to Duluth, Minn. to take on the Bulldogs on Friday, January 23 at 7:30pm. WSU is 43-67 all time against UMD with the Warriors winning both of last season's matchups. Winona State will then head to Bemidji, Minn. to play Bemidji State on Saturday, January 24 at 5:30pm. WSU is 92-73 all-time against the Beavers, including defeating BSU 80-64 on January 11, 2025 in McCown Gymnasium.
Winona State Notes:
- Winona State enters the week 5-12 (4-8 NSIC) after splitting last weekend's games, falling 84-80 to Northern State and defeating Jamestown 79-70.
- The Warriors enter the 2025-26 season ranked ninth in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

- Ryan Heise looks to continue his steady season on both ends of the floor. Heise averages 12.8 points per game on 51.9% (80-of-154) shooting from the field and 38.8% (19-of-49) from three-point land.
- Tyler Mason adds 12.6 ppg while Aidan Bardic is leading the team with 3.0 assists per game.
- Following this week, the Warriors return home, facing the University of Mary and Minot State on January 30 and 31 respectively.
Minnesota Duluth Notes:
- Minnesota Duluth returns to their home floor on a four-game skid. The Bulldogs lost a pair of close NSIC games last weekend. UMD fell 80-77 to Minnesota State and 92-87 to St. Cloud State.
- UMD is 10-8 (6-6 NSIC) during the 2025-26 campaign.
