WARRIORS SET TO HOST STORM FOR WEEKEND DUAL

WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State gymnastics team is set to face off against the Simpson College Storm this Sunday, February 1st at 3:00pm.

The Warriors are coming off a two-meet win streak against WIAC opponents and look to continue stacking the victories.

WSU Athletics ticketing has moved to fully digital this year. All fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online before arriving at the venue. Cash will not be accepted at the gate.

Winona State Notes:
  • Frankie Jo MacAskill led the Warriors with an impressive 9.825 on floor and a 9.625 on the vault.
  • Taylor Magierka stacked another impressive 9.775 on the floor, that was her fourth meet in a row above a score of 9.725 or better.
  • Reagan Kelley led the beam with a score of 9.625.
  • Addison Ward's 9.525 on the bar anchored the Warrior's bar squad.
  • The Warriors put up an impressive team score of 188.750.
Simpson College Notes:
  • Emmie Barton tied for second on vault with a 9.650 against UW-La Crosse.
  • Kaelyn Tally earned a 9.600 on floor.
  • Evalyn Resnick tied for third on vault with a 9.675 on vault, and a 9.575 on bars, which was a season high for the storm.
  • The Storm tallied a score of 188.150 to the Eagle's 193.150.
