WARRIORS HEAD TO COLORADO SPRINGS TO TAKE ON AIR FORCE

WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State University gymnastics team hits the road this week to Colorado Springs, Colo. to take on NCAA DI opponent Air Force. The meet starts at 7pm MST on Friday, January 9th.

The Warriors make the road trip to Colorado Springs, Colo. for a dual against Air Force this Friday. This will be WSU's second meet of the season after earning a 189.575 in the opener last weekend at UW-Oshkosh.

Winona State Notes:
  • The Warriors come of a strong start at UW-Oshkosh tallying a total score of 189.575. 
  • The Warrior bar squad had a record shattering performance that topped the record books with a score of 48.200. 
  • Kaelyn Duman led the Warriors on beam with a 9.650, earning the WIAC Gymnast of the Week award. 
  • Taylor Magierka led WSU on the vault and floor last weekend with scores of 9.550 and 9.725.
  • Jessica Miley and Harper Hamilton each scored a 9.675 on the bars to be the top scorers for the Warriors.
  • Gabby Kraft was a strong contributor on the vault, beam and floor, scoring above a 9.500 on each event.

Air Force Notes:
  • Air Force competes in the NCAA DI Mountain West Conference
  • During the 2025 season, Air Force ranked 54th overall.
  • Maggie Slife tallied team-high scores for the 2025 season on the bars, beam, and floor.
  • Air Force recorded a high team score of 195.775 last season.
