WHITEWATER, Wis. – The Winona State gymnastics team made the trek out to UW-Whitewater, Wis. to compete in a dual against the Warhawks.
The Warriors totaled a team score of 184.800 to the Warhawk's team score of 189.225
The Warriors posted a season high vault score earning a 48.050. This vault squad started off with a pair of 9.55 from Courtney Knutson and Harper Hamilton followed by Molly Amrhein's 9.575, Frankie Jo MacAskill's 9.6, Gabby Kraft's 9.625, and Irene Kearney's 9.7.
The Warriors put up strong performances on uneven bars with Kaylee Bateman earning a 9.325, Harper Hamilton scoring a 9.45, and Jessica Miley with a 9.475, The bar's lineup was led by Jessica Miley's 9.475.
The Warriors put up a fight on beam with an outstanding performance from Reagan Kelley with a 9.525.
The Warriors had an amazing floor rotation counting Jessica Miley's 9.45, a pair of 9.55 from Taylor Magierka and Gabby Kraft, Courtney Knutson's 9.575, and finished off with Frankie Jo MacAskill's 9.775.
The Warriors aren't done fighting. They will be back in action with a home dual on Friday, February 13th against UW-Oshkosh at 6:00pm.
