WINONA, Minn. – The Wiona State Gymnastics team readies to compete at the WIAC Championships hosted by Winona State University in McCown Gymnasium this Saturday, March 7th.
The 2026 WIAC Championships / NCGA West Regional is on Saturday, March 7th with the first session beginning at 12:30pm and the second session at 6:00pm. Winona State will compete in the first session against Simpson, UW-Stout, Gustavus, and Hamline. The second session will feature UW-Oshkosh, UW-Whitewater, UW-La Crosse, and UW-Eau Claire.
All ticketing will be fully digital for the championships. All fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online before arriving at the venue.
Cash will not be accepted at the gate. One ticket will grant access to both sessions.
Winona State Notes:
- Winona State scored their season high of 191.075 against UW-Oshkosh on their Senior night dual.
- In their dual against Hamline University the Warriors topped the podiums in every event. Irene Kearney won the vault, Jessica Miley won the bars, Kaelyn Duman won the beam, and Gabby Kraft and Frankie Jo MacAskill tied to win the floor.
- MacAskill and Kearney still hold the season highs for the vault, with 9.775s.
- Kaylee Bateman leads the Warriors on the beam with a high score of 9.800.
- Kraft's 9.775 on the beam is still the leader for the season.
- MacAskill leads the floor for the season with a 9.825 on the floor.
- Winona States uneven bars team shattered the uneven bar record in their first meet of the season at the UW-Oshkosh Quadrangular, setting the new record with a score of 48.200.
