ELSENPETER AND WOELFEL EARN NFCA ALL-REGION HONORS

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Winona State softball student-athletes Bryn Elsenpeter and Alyssa Woelfel were each selected to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II Central All-Region Second Team.

The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association's eight regions with first and second-team selections. NFCA member head coaches from each respective region nominated their student-athletes and voted for the teams. All the honorees are now eligible for selection to the 2026 NFCA Division II All-America squads.

Elsenpeter represented Winona State as the second baseman on the All-Region Second Team. Elsenpeter holds a .339 batting average with a .452 on-base percentage and slugging at a .685 clip. Elsenpeter leads the NSIC with 15 home runs and is third in the NSIC with 55 RBI. Elsenpeter's Second Team All-Region nod adds to her All-NSIC First Team Selection.

Woelfel, the NSIC Player of the Year, led the Warriors and the NSIC in nearly ever offensive category during league play. Woelfel is hitting .415 on the season with 78 hits and a slugging percentage of .665. Woelfel has started in all 59 games for WSU en route to First Team All-NSIC and Second Team All-Region honors.

The Warriors are currently in action in the 2026 NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament.
