BURNSVILLE, Minn. — Winona State women's cross country junior Stella Rusch received Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Cross Country Athlete of the Week honors, announced by the organization on Tuesday morning.
 
Rusch, a junior from St. Cloud, Minn, received her second Cross Country Athlete of the week honor, with her first coming on Sept. 9.
 
This past week Rusch recorded a personal best 6k time of 20:05.50 at the Roy Griak Invitational where she placed seventh overall and first among Division II runners. She also helped Winona State place sixth as a team and first among Division II teams.
 
Rusch and the Warriors will be back in action on Oct. 10 when they travel to Romeoville, IL. to compete in the Lewis Crossover.
