WINONA, Minn – Winona State returns home to host No. 5 Concordia-St. Paul at McCown Gymnasium on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 6 p.m. The Warriors will also travel to Mankato, Minn. to face Minnesota State on Sept. 26 at 2 p.m.
 
The Warriors (2-8) will look to bounce back after only winning one set in two games last weekend, falling to No. 2 Wayne State and Augustana. Concordia-St. Paul (8-3) is coming off a win over Augustana but also suffering a loss to No. 2 Wayne State last weekend. Minnesota State (3-9) went 1-1 last weekend, defeating  Sioux Falls, but fell in straight sets against No.11 Southwest Minnesota State.
 
Winona State Notes:

• Abby Ongna continues to lead the offensive attack with 121 kills.
• Hailee Peters leads the team in both assists (250), and aces (12).
• The defensive side is backed by Lily Shields, who leads the Warriors with 95 digs.
• Maddie Brown controls the net with 21 blocks on the season.
• The Warriors are averaging 11.3 kills per set.

Concordia St. Paul Notes:

• Makenna Nold leads the team with 134 kills, 18 aces, and 105 digs.
• Audrey Waterman has 234 assists on the season
• Kelsey Cooper has a total of 30 blocks to lead the team.

Minnesota State Notes:

• Addison Foor leads the Mavericks with 105 kills. Lily Riese is in second with 104.
• Jadyn Lester has dished out 381 assists this season.
• The Mavericks' defense is led by Savannah Meyer with 149 digs and Olivia Sturgis with 30 blocks.
• Jadyn Lester also leads the team with 25 aces.
