MARSHALL, Minn. --- The Winona State women's golf team will travel to the Mustang Invitational, taking place Sept. 26-27 at Marshall Golf Club.
ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
Marshall Golf Club is a par 72 that plays 5,877 yards. The event will feature 13 teams that includes six NSIC schools.
ABOUT THE WARRIORS
Winona State competed earlier in the week at the Jewel Invitational, finish with a team score of 653 and seventh place overall.
Megan Young led the Warriors by finishing second individually with a four-over-par score of 148 (74, 74).
Maeve McDougal (85, 82) and
Kendyl Conrad (84, 83) each tied for 36th with scores of 23 over par.
Tara Eckes rounded out the Warriors' scoring lineup by tying for 42nd at 27 over par (87, 84).
Taylor LeMire also competed on the five-person team, placing just behind Eckes in a tie for 48th with a 32-over-par score (88, 88).
Megan Kuehni competed as an individual in the tournament, finishing 67th with rounds of 100 and 94 (+50).
