Men's Basketball Adds Size With Two Additional Signings

WINONA, Minn. – Winona State head men's basketball coach Todd Eisner has announced the addition of another pair of prep commitments during the fall signing period.

After recently inking a pair of guards in Sam Baker and Dalante Peyton, the Warriors have aimed to solidify their post presence with the additions of Charlie Irmiger (C, 7-0, 245, Minneapolis, Minn./Washburn HS) and Spencer Treder (F, 6-9, 200, Oconomowoc, Wis./Oconomowoc HS) for the 2016-17 season.

"We are excited to welcome Charlie and Spencer to the Warrior basketball program," said Eisner. "We felt like it was very important that we tried to identify one or two post players in this recruiting class with three current post players being upperclassmen in Mohamed, Nick and Kyle. We are thrilled that we were able to add two bigs at this time and can now concentrate on adding the best available player in the spring.

"Both players have shown great improvement in their games since the end of their junior years. We believe each has a very high ceiling and we look forward to working with Spencer and Charlie in the future to develop and improve their respective skill sets.

"Overall we are thrilled that we were able to sign four tremendous young men during the early signing period. We belive each of them has the ability to make a positive impact on our program as we move forward and they get adjusted to the college game."
