OSHKOSH, Wis. – The Warriors claimed the top spot in three of the four events, but it wasn't enough as the Winona State gymnastics team narrowly fell to Wisconsin-Oshkosh 184.150-183.975.
Brooke Hiestand claimed a share of the floor exercise title with UW-Oshkosh's Danielle Turner, recording WSU's best score of the night at a 9.600.
Jade Donaldson finished with a 9.475, while
Jessica Gabriel finished with a 9.350 and
Melanee Pfautz added a 9.200.
Donaldson won the vault title, scoring a 9.450, while
Taylor Lewis added a 9.250 to finish fifth in the event.
The Warriors took the top two sports on the uneven bars, with
Kathryn Pipp winning the event with a 9.500, while
Katie Carling added a 9.425.
Olivia Cattelino finished fourth with a score of 9.250.
The Warriors struggled on the balance beam as the Titans took five of the top six spots, with Carling's 9.225 good enough for a third place result.
Donaldson also competed in the all-around for the Warriors, recording a score of 36.250, finishing second behind Krystal Walker's 37.225.
