SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Winona State women's golf team finished 16th at the Central Region Spring Preview played Monday and Tuesday at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield, Missouri.
All five Warriors improved upon their first round scores in Tuesday's final round to help the Warriors move up three spots on the second day. Katya Hoffman (85-82) led WSU with a tie for 46th place, while Marissa Geyer (91-78) used one of the best rounds of the day to jump to a tie for 52nd. Jessica Blanchard (87-83) finished tied for 56th.
Winona State competes next at the Minnesota State Spring Tournament on Saturday and Sunday at Bunker Hills Golf Course in its final tune-up for the NSIC Spring Championship, set for April 23-24 in Morton, Minn.
