WINONA, Minn. – The Warrior women's golf team will head to the St. Joseph Country Club for the NCAA DII Central Regional tournament.
The three-round tournament will start with a practice round on Sunday, May 3rd with the official start of the round one being on Monday, May 4th and continuing until Wednesday, May 6th.
Winona State earned three top three team finishes this season and finished in the top four on five occasions during the season. The Warriors are coming off a fourth-place finish at the 2026 NSIC Championships, where
Georgia Volley was the top WSU finisher taking third place individually and securing NSIC All-Tournament Team honors. The Warriors are one of the five Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference teams competing in the event, joined by Minnesota State, Wayne State, Augustana, and Concordia-St. Paul.

Since 1898, St. Joseph Country Club is and has been one of the finest private clubs in the Midwest. While stretching to just under 6700 yards from the back teeing ground, the course's narrow zoysia fairways, thick rough and small greens place an emphasis on accuracy, shot making and will make players use every club in their bag. Good play will be rewarded and bad play will be penalized. This will be the sixth time in history that the club will host the NCAA Golf Regional and third time it has hosted the women's event.
The St. Joseph Missouri Sports Commission and Missouri Western will host 18 teams and six individuals for the Central Regional at the St. Joseph Country Club. This will be the women's first time making the NCAA DII Central Regional since 2017. All participants will compete through the 54 holes of competition. The top five Central teams along with the top two individuals, not on an advancing team will advance to the championships. The championships will be held May 12-16 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
