COON RAPIDS, Minn. – The Winona State women's golf team turned in a strong pair of rounds to take home a fourth place finish out of 10 teams at the Minnesota State Invitational at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids, Minn.

The Warriors shot a 663 (338-325) to finish in fourth at +87, 10 shots back of St. Cloud State for third and 20 shots up on Sioux Falls for fifth. The host Mavericks won the invite at +50, while Gustavus Adolphus was second at +55.

Senior Katya Hoffman shot a solid final round 77 after an opening round 81 to finish in fifth place and +14 for the invite. Junior Marissa Geyer also fired a strong final round 78 to better a first round 86 and finish in a tie for 14^th.

Jessica Blanchard (82-89) tied for 30^th, Courtney Terrill (89-86) finished tied for 38^th and Courtney Bergum (95-84) ended tied for 49^th.

Winona State now prepares for the NSIC Spring Championship on Saturday and Sunday at Dakotah Ridge Golf Course in Morton, Minn. The Warriors currently sit 6^th out of 12 teams after the fall portion of the NSIC Championship.
