BROOKINGS, S.D. – Megan Seidl won the 400-meters with a time of 55.61 seconds, beating out 104 participants.
Kaitlyn Long won the weight throw after marking 21.39 meters/70'2.25'' feet.
Kathleen Taylor was second in the shot put, setting a new personal best with a throw of 14.36 meters/47'1.50'' feet.
Seidl was just .2 seconds off her personal best and now ranks seventh nationally in the event. Taylor ranks 12
th in the nation currently in the shot put.
Raissa Hansen was seventh in the mile run, crossing the line in a time of 5:06.18. It was the second fastest time in school history.
Long took seventh in the shot put with a toss of 13.60 meters/44'7.50'' feet.
Nicole Nelson would take sixth (17.35m 56-11.25) in the weight throw and
Mikayla Lindell wound up ninth (16.79m 55-01.00).
Amanda Schaefer leaped an 11.21 meters/36'6.75'' feet to place eighth in the triple jump.
