ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The Warriors tennis team erased a 2-1 deficit after doubles to come back and win 5-4 over St. Cloud State on Sunday. Winona State (5-1) won singles in the number two, three, four and six spots in the lineup. Three of the Warriors wins in singles matches came via the tiebreak.

Kendra Kappes won 8-1 in the number three spot in doubles to secure the Warriors a team point.
Justine Daane won 7-5, 3-6, 13-11 in the number two spot in the lineup.
Rachel Gantz took home the victory 3-6, 6-3, 10-4 from the number three spot.
Kappes also won via the tiebreak, winning 6-1, 3-6, 10-8.
Katie Scruggs breezed through her match in the six spot 6-1, 6-1.
