ORLANDO, Fla. – Winona State (6-4) took on both Bentley and Eckerd on Wednesday, wrapping up their spring trip to Florida. The day began with a 6-3 loss to Bentley. In the second match of the day the Warriors took down Eckerd College 5-4

Katie Scruggs teamed up to earn the Warriors a point after the doubles session.
Kaisey Skibba would win from the number one spot in the lineup in singles, earning a 6-3, 6-4 win.
Justine Daane earned the Warriors their third point with a 6-3, 6-2 victory from the second spot in the lineup.

Rachel Gantz won 8-5 in the number one spot. In the third doubles match
Tayla Card and
Katie Scruggs won their second match of the day, this time winning 8-5.
In singles matches the Warriors got wins in the 4-6 spots in the lineup.
Kendra Kappes did not drop a game, winning 6-0, 6-0. Card battled back after dropping set one 2-6 to win the next two sets 6-1, 1-0 (10-6). Scruggs also came back after losing the first set 2-6. She completed the come back with a 7-5 win in the second set and a 10-7 win in the third set tiebreaker.
