MINNETONKA, Minn. – Winona State beat Bemidji State 5-2 to advance to the NSIC Semifinals against St. Cloud State tomorrow. The Warriors and Huskies will play at 8 a.m. tomorrow morning with the winner advancing to the NSIC Championship at 12 p.m.

Rachel Gantz put WSU up 1-0 early, winning 8-3 in their doubles match. However, Bemidji State would hold a 2-1 lead after the doubles portion of the match.
Kaisey Skibba tied the match at two with a 6-3, 6-4 win in her singles match. The Warriors grabbed the lead after Kappes won 6-1, 6-2. The spread grew to 4-2 when
Tayla Card picked up a 6-3, 6-2 win. The win was secured when Scruggs won 6-2, 6-3.
