FARGO, N.D. – Minnesota State-Moorhead was able to take down Winona State 5-4 on Saturday. The Warriors fell behind 2-1 after doubles matches and then split the singles matches in the dual.
Kendra Kappes stayed unbeaten in NSIC play.
In the doubles portion
Kendra Kappes and
Rachel Gantz won 9-8 (7-5) to earn WSU a point.
Rachel Gantz picked up a 6-0, 6-3 win at number three singles. Kappes earned a 7-6 (10-6), 6-3 win.
Katie Scruggs picked up the final point for the Warriors; winning 6-2, 6-4.
