WINONA, Minn. – Winona State University will host a pair of conference opponents this weekend at the Winona Tennis Center in the Warriors' final home matches of the 2017-18 season.
Winona State (11-2, 8-1 NSIC) hosts the University of Mary (3-6, 5-8 NSIC) on Friday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. and Minnesota State Moorhead (13-2, 8-1 NSIC) on Saturday at 12 p.m. The Warriors and Moorhead Dragons enter the weekend tied for second place in the conference standings.
Winona State defeated U-Mary last season, 9-0. The Warriors have dropped three straight to the Dragons, including a competitive 5-4 decision last year.
Prior to first serve on Saturday, the Warriors will recognize their senior class of Justine Daane, Rachel Gantz, Kali Hackmann and Lauren Willkom.
Winona State concludes the regular season with a non-conference match at Luther College on Friday, April 13. The Warriors will then compete in the NSIC Tournament slated for April 21-22 in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
