Winona State women's golf heads to Flyer Invitational

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - The Winona State University women's golf program heads to the land of Lincoln this week to participate in the Flyer Intercollegiate Golf Tournament, hosted by Lewis University and scheduled to take place Monday, Oct. 4 and Tuesday, Oct. 5.

The Warrior women's program is coming off of a team championship at the Watkins Invitational last week, competition which saw WSU outperform four other squads en route to the team first-place hardware.  Carly Moon paced Winona State at the Jewel in Lake City, Minn. firing a 150 overall and an impressive two-under par 70 in the opening round.

At the Flyer Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, the women's division will be held at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club and all teams are competing on The Ravines (Course #2).
