WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State University women's tennis team is set to host their final home match of the 2022 season with a contest against Upper Iowa today, March 26. First serve is scheduled for 1:30pm at the Winona Tennis Center.

The Warriors will be honoring three seniors at the match today: Rina Niehoff, Brooke Holloway, and Brooke Jorgensen. The three have amassed a combined 22-14 record at both singles and doubles for WSU this season.

Winona State and Upper Iowa faced off during each other's non-championship portion of their schedule this past fall, and WSU earned a tight 4-3 victory. The Warriors were able to win two of the three doubles matches to gain the doubles point and then went on to win at No. 2, No. 5, and No. 6 singles to clinch the match.

Currently in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference standings, Winona State is second with a 7-1 conference record while Upper Iowa is fifth with a 5-3 record within the NSIC. The Warriors have just three matches left, including today's contest, before the NSIC Tournament on April 23-25 in Sioux Falls, S.D.
