ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Winona State women's golf team is preparing to tee off at the Holiday Inn Express Classic, a two-day event held by Missouri Western State University on March 28-29 in St. Joseph, Mo.

The Warriors have earned three straight top-five finishes this spring, including a first-place finish at The Legacy Invitational in Henderson, Nev. Most recently, WSU finished fifth among 17 teams at the Midwest Intercollegiate last week.

Carly Moon is the reigning Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Golfer of the Week after an impressive performance at the Midwest Intercollegiate a week ago. She led WSU with a 156 (80-76) and finished in sixth place overall, just four strokes back of the leaders.

The Warriors will look to continue their success this week as they compete against a strong field of 13 teams, including five NSIC foes.
