Warrior Game Day : Baseball

BISMARCK, N.D. - The Winona State University baseball team will take on the University of Mary today, April 2 with a doubleheader slated to start at 1:30 p.m. in Bismarck, N.D. 

The two teams last faced off in a twin bill on March 20, 2021, with the Warriors dropping game one 9-3 before battling back against the Marauders to win game two, 8-7.  Winona State is coming off a three-game series against Minot State in which WSU won the first game on Sunday, March 27 4-3, before dropping the final two contests 7-1 and 14-1.  

The Warriors (4-12, 2-3 NSIC) will look to climb back up the NSIC baseball ladder today, with a seven-inning game starting at 1:30pm, followed by a nine-inning contest to close out the day.  UMary (9-13, 1-6 NSIC) will also host the Winona State tomorrow in a single, nine-inning contest set to start at noon.
