WARRENSBURG, Mo. - The Winona State University women's golf team opens play in the Midwest Classic hosted by the University of Central Missouri over Monday, Oct. 16, and Tuesday, Oct. 17.
Most recently, Winona State competed at the USF Invitational, with the team tying for fourth place overall. Playing in Larchwood, Iowa last week,
Toni Baldwin paced Winona State with a two-round score of 149. Baldwin shot a team-best 71 on the opening day of the tournament.
In Missouri, WSU will square off with NSIC foes Minnesota State, the University of Sioux Falls, Southwest Minnesota State, and Wayne State College. Rival Upper Iowa is also among the 20 team field playing the Mules National Golf Club in Warrensburg, Mo.
