WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State University women's tennis team is set to host a Division I opponent this weekend, as the Warriors face Northern Illinois University on Sunday, Feb. 26 at the Winona Tennis Center.
WSU (3-0, 3-0 NSIC) has made quick work of opponents this season, having just lost at one position in three matches while completing two sweeps to open league play.
NIU enters the weekend with a 7-6 record and winners of their last three matches. The Huskies play at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. on Sunday morning before squaring off against the Warriors at 4pm on Sunday afternoon.
This will be Winona State's last contest before embarking on their spring break trip, where they will play five matches in Florida between March 5-9.
