OSHKOSH, Wis. – The Winona State University gymnastics team scored a season-high team perfomance at the 2023 WIAC Championships/West Regional Championships to earn fifth place overall.
 
The Warriors set season-high team scores in the beam (47.225), floor (47.850), and vault (47.875) en route to a season-high 187.675 team score.
 
Individually, Breanna Ho led the way with a third-place finish in the all-around event with a 37.800. Jessica Miley finished in sixth with a score of 36.225.
 
Two Warriors earned WIAC podium appearances on the balance beam. Ho and Taryn Sellner each scored a 9.750 for their routines to finish tied for fourth.
 
Kennedy O'Connor led the way on the vault, scoring a 9.750 to finish tied for fifth overall. Kaylee Bateman's 9.250 on the bars was the top finisher for Winona State. Sellner led WSU on the floor with a 9.650.
 
UW-Oshkosh repeated as WIAC/NCGA West Region team champions, scoring a 193.100. UW-La Crosse finished second with a 191.850, and UW-Stout finished third with a 190.475.

Winona State University is set to host the 2023 NCGA Championships on Saturday, March 25th in McCown Gymnasium.
