NSIC Weekend: Women's Tennis

FARGO, N.D. – The Winona State University women's tennis team is set for their final regular season matches as the Warriors travel to Fargo, N.D. to take on UMary and MSU Moorhead.

The Warriors and Marauders will take the courts at 1:30pm on Saturday, April 15 while WSU will battle the Dragons at 8:30am on Sunday, April 16. Both matches will take place in Fargo, N.D.

Winona State (8-7, 5-4 NSIC) is in a three-way tie for fifth place in the league standings heading into the final weekend of the regular season. The Warriors will look to improve their conference record to gain a higher seed heading into the NSIC Tournament.

The Warriors have been led by seniors Beth Murman and Rachel Kelly as they hold a combined 13-5 conference record at the top two singles positions.

WSU dropped a tight match to UMary a season ago, falling 4-3. Winona State defeated MSUM 7-0 at home last season.
