ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Winona State University volleyball team fell victim to the NSIC road woes on Friday, losing to Northern State University 3-0.
Winona State (10-3, 3-2 NSIC) was unable to overcome a slow start while host Northern State (11-2, 4-1 NSIC) won the battle of two teams currently appearing in the AVCA Top-25 'Receiving Votes' category.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Winona State saw Northern State jump out to an early lead in falling to the Wolves in set one, 25-16.
The home side offered Winona State minimal attacking options in dealing WSU a 25-11 second set scoreline.
Although Winona State put together their best effort in set three, NSU handed WSU a 25-22 third set loss.
