BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – The Winona State University women's golf team earned a third-place finish at the Central Region Preview, hosted by Southwest Oklahoma State University on Sept. 5-6. As a team, the Warriors shot 612 overall, where two Warriors finished inside the top 15.
Carly Moon earned a fifth-place finish after shooting a 151 (+17). Moon rebounded from a 78 (+6) day one total to card one the best rounds individually of any participant on day two, coming in with a 73 (+1).
Rachel Henderson joined Moon in the top 15 with a 153 (+9) score. Henderson shot a 73 (+1) on day one and a 80 (+8) second day total.
Toni Baldwin and
Ellie Behring finished tied in the event, both at 154 (+10).
Kessa Mara rounded out the Warrior scoring with a 168 (+24) effort.
Winona State will next travel to Hudson, Wis. for the Maverick / Golden Bear Fall Brawl Invite hosted by Concordia St. Paul on Sept. 18-19.
