WOMEN'S GOLF COMPETES AT NSIC PREVIEW

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – Winona State women's golf finished eighth at the NSIC Preview, hosted at Adams Pointe Golf Club.
 
The Warriors carded team scores of 327 and 314 to finish with a two-round total of 641. Missouri Western took team championship honors after shooting a 602.
 
Georgia Volley was the top Warrior finisher, golfing rounds of 81 and 75 to finish tied for 15th at 12-over par. Megan Young was just one stroke back, shooting an 81 (+9) on the first day then a 76 (+4) on the second.
 
Taylor LeMire, golfing as an individual, tallied a two-round total of 160. Lindsey Lund tallied rounds of 83 and 80, while Maeve McDougal and Kessa Mara rounded out the WSU lineup with tournament totals of 167.
 
Winona State returns to the course this Friday and Saturday at the Upper Iowa Invitational in Waterloo, Iowa.
