WARRIOR WOMEN’S GOLF SECURES FOURTH PLACE FINISH AT SIOUX FALLS

LARCHWOOD, Iowa – Winona State women's golf finished fourth at the Sioux Falls Invitational hosted that the Grand Falls Casino and Golf Resort in Larchwood, Iowa.

The Warriors cared rounds of 307 and 339 to finish fourth overall. Wayne State won the event with a two round total score of 638.

Megan Young led the Warriors with an eighth-place finish, shooting a 76 (+4) on the opening day and firing an 84 (+12) the second day for a total score of 160 for the invitational.

Lindsey Lund was the next golfer for the Warriors, finishing with an 11th placement with scores of 72 (E) and 89 (+17). Kessa Mara was just two strokes behind after shooting a 164 for the event.

Georgia Volley, Kelby Anderson and Maeve McDougal rounded out the Warriors lineup as they all shot rounds of 165 (+21), 166 (+22) and 176 (+32), respectively.

Winona State is next in action during the Spring at the Las Vegas Warrior Invitational on Wednesday, March 11th in Henderson, Nev.
