NSIC Weekend: Women's Tennis

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Winona State University tennis team will challenge a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) opponents over the weekend of Friday, March 22, and Saturday, March 23 playing on the road in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. WSU will take on the University of Sioux Falls at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and Augustana University on Saturday at 7 p.m.  Both matches will be played in the Huether Family Match Pointe. 
 
Winona State is 4-6 on the season, most recently coming off a strong NSIC weekend performance against the University of Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State University, beating UMD 6-1 and SCSU 5-2.
 
Last year, Winona State fell to the University of Sioux Falls by a 5-2 scoreline and then suffered a sweep against Augustana 7-0  

 
Following this weekend's NSIC contests, Winona State tennis will travel to St. Peter, Minn. to face off against Bemidji State University and the University of Minnesota Crookston. The WSU match-ups against the Beavers and Golden Eagles will finish out the regular season.
