MANKATO, Minn. - The Winona State University track and field team turned in several impressive performances at the 2024 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) outdoor championships on Friday, May 11.
Leading Winona State in competition on Friday was
Hanna Reichenberger, who set a new WSU record in the 100 meter hurdles. Reichenberger, a junior from Combined Locks, Wisconsin, turned in a time of 14.00. Reichenberger's mark displaced the former top time of 14.36, set by Jess Devine in 2007.
Also competing on Friday was Kaylee Olson. Olson placed seventh overall in the long jump with a mark of 5.64m (18-06.00), good for seventh place in the highly competitive field. UMary's Arianna Passeri won the event with a mark of 6.36 meters.
McKenna Taylor competed in the 3000 meter steeplechase, where the senior from Wausau, Wisconsin, took fifth. Taylor produced a time of 11:29.15, while Augustana's Eleni Lovgren took top honors with a mark of 10:58.11.
Head coach Mason Rebarchek and Winona State will wrap up competition on Saturday in Mankato.
