WSU set to compete at 2024 NCAA DII Track & Field Championships

WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University track and field team is sending two athletes to the 2024 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, set to be held on May 23-25 in Emporia, Kan.

 Hanna Reichenberger and Kaylee Beyer will represent Winona State with Beyer competing in the 1500-meter and the 5000-meter and Reichenberger in the triple jump. Beyer holds the fifth fastest 1500m time in the nation running a time of 4:19.12 and the eighth fastest 5000m with a time of 16:09.59. Reichenberger holds a top-20 spot in the nation in the triple jump with a jump of 12.34m in the NSIC Championships.

The 1500 meter prelims are set to begin at 5:25 p.m. on Thursday, May 23 with the finals starting at 2:35 p.m. on Saturday, May 25. Shortly following the 1500 meter finals, the 5000 meter race begins on Saturday, May 25 at 5:25 p.m.

The women's triple jump will begin on Friday, May 24 at 4:45 p.m.
