LA CROSSE, Wis. - The Winona State University track & field team traveled down the UW-La Crosse to compete in the Pat Healy Classic.
The Warriors made the short trip down to UW-L to compete in the Pat Healy Classis, and they did just that collecting eight top three finishes. Starting with the 400m dash, where
Regan Feit took second with a time of 57.20.
Jenna Anders finished third in the 800m with a time of 2:20.29, which was two second behind UW-L's Kylie Stockton. In the 3000m run, Sophia Turaad took second place with a time of 9:58.24 right behind former Warrior
Kaylee Beyer, who was running unattached. Going into the one mile run,
Kylie Anderson took first place with a time of 5:04.10 and Samatha Harke took third place with a time of 5:10.07.
Going into field events,
Mari Mohling took third place in the high jump with a distance of 1.59m. In the long jump,
MacKenzie Wissbroecker took home first place with a distance of 6.01m.
Hanna Reichenberger took home second place in the triple jump with a distance of 11.78m, which was .15m off of the first place finisher, Samatha Barrett from UW-L. Winona State took home second place in the Pat Healy Classic with 83 point collected in the running events and the jumping events.
The Winona State Univeristy track & field team will be back in action back down at UW-La Crosse on Saturday, Febuary 8 for the Mark Gathrie Legacy Invitational with a start time of 2 p.m.
